Tea with Almond Milk (?)

I think for many people who transition into being a vegan, one of the struggles is finding a good milk replacement for tea/coffee. I’m one of those people going through the struggle. I heard that soy was not a great option, so I tried almond milk. That did not go well at all. Someone had suggested oat milk on a thread that I was reading, so I think I am going to try that next.
Someone on the forum made a good point that it might take time to adjust to it since we grew up with cow’s milk. Had we not, and someone shoved a glass of cow’s milk on you, that would be weird too.
So I guess I’ll just have to allow myself to adjust to a different type of milk.
