Still obsessing over the characters in this. Considering it’s JKR though, I’m not surprised. She’s given us a lot of great characters.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2
Went to watch part two last night with my friend last night. While the movie is now complete and done, I feel like it was a bit anti-climatic. It should have just been done in one movie instead of splitting it into two movies. I know why they did it. I just hate it. I’m actually really glad that the Divergent series is not splitting the last movie into a two parter.
The whole second part was all the emotional and political aftermath. It was a fine movie, it made me laugh, it made me cry in all the right places. But really, if you were going to split it off into two movies, I wish that they did more with it. More explanations, more seeing how messed up Peeta was because of the Capital, just more. I’m actually kind of glad I didn’t re-read the last book prior to going to see the movie (unlike with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows), cause I’m sure there would be more that I’d be upset about.
